Chemistry and Enviromental Science

Living in urban environments we are often removed from the natural world around us. We have very few opportunities to see the impact of our daily lives on our local environment and the larger ecosystems. In this project students will be investigating the impact of their daily decisions on local environments and the global environment at large. Students will also be creating and following through with a business plan for producing organic surf wax, sunscreen, and lip balm as an alternative to petroleum based products.

This project can take 4 to 8 weeks.
